Rock Icons Bon Jovi To Play BB&T Center Exclusively On Saturday, March 2

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment today announced that legendary rock group Bon Jovi will bring their Because We Can World Tour exclusively to the BB&T Center on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 7 p.m.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Bon Jovi back to the BB&T Center and want to thank them for their continued loyalty to the ‘Center of it All’,” said SSE Executive Director of Event Programming Aaron Zimmerman. “The BB&T Center continues to be Bon Jovi’s preferred South Florida destination and we are excited about what will undoubtedly be one of the biggest and best shows of 2013.”

Formed in 1983, Bon Jovi has earned many accolades in the music industry including multiple Grammy nominations and a Grammy win for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals, with the song “Who Says You Can’t go Home”. Known for their brand of Arena Rock with hits like “You Give Love a Bad Name”, “Livin’ on a Prayer”, “Wanted Dead or Alive”, and “It’s My Life”. 2013 marks the 30-year anniversary for the band and Bon Jovi will celebrate with an incredible on-stage spectacle as well as new songs from their upcoming album What About Now.

The recently renamed BB&T Center was ranked No. 8 in the United States and No. 30 in the world according to the third quarter arena venue rankings by trade publication Pollstar. The “Center of it All” has a remarkable schedule of concerts and events on tap for the remainder of 2012 including Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Y100 Jingle Ball and more.
