99 Jamz Summer Jamz at BB&T; Center for Memorial Day Weekend

SUNRISE, Fla– Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced that 99 Jamz and BB&T Center will host 99 Jamz Summer Jamz concert with Rick Ross, Future, Jeezy and K. Michelle. The artists take the stage at BB&T Center on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 8pm.

Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets are also available at BB&T Center Box Office during the operation hours of 9am-5pm.

Miami native Rick Ross, a four-time Grammy nominated rapper and hip-hop mogul, stepped onto the music scene with his debut album Port of Miami (2006). The album received Gold certification by the Recording Industry of America in 2006. In 2009, Ross founded the Maybach Music Group record label. He released albums Deeper than Rap (2009), Teflon Don (2010), God Forgives, I Don’t (2012) Mastermind (2014) and Hood Billionaire (2014) through his record label. Ross has collaborated with Jay Z, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Usher, Drake, Lil’ Wayne and other hip-hop artists.

Atlanta rapper, producer and songwriter Future, released his debut album Pluto in 2012. Pluto landed the number eight spot on the Billboard chart and sold 41,000 copies its first week. The album was re-released later that year as Pluto3D. Future’s second album Honest, was released in April 2014. Future is featured on numerous songs with Lil’ Wayne, Drake, Rick Ross and Rihanna.

Four-time Grammy nominated Atlanta native Jeezy, released his first album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 back in 2005. The second single off his debut album, “Soul Survivor (feat. Akon)” reached number four on the Billboard 100 chart and became Jeezy’s highest charting single of his career. Jeezy released several albums like, The Recession (2008) and Seen it All: The Autobiography (2014) and worked with Usher, Akon, Kanye West, Drake and Rihanna.

Tennessee-born musician and television personality K. Michelle, made her debut with Rebellious Soul (2013) which hit number one on the Billboard Top 200 and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. Golden Globe winning actor Idris Elba, directed The Rebellious Soul Musical, which premiered on VH1. She has starred on reality, show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” and her reality series “K. Michelle My Life.” K. Michelle won a Soul Train Award for “Best New Artist” and an NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding New Artist” in 2014.
