Andrea Bocelli Returns To BankAtlantic Center For Exclusive Performance Friday, Feb. 8

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that for the fourth straight concert season, famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will visit BankAtlantic Center for an exclusive South Florida performance, offering a pop and operatic performance on Friday, Feb. 8. On-sale information for the concert will be released at a later date.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Andrea Bocelli back to South Florida after capacity crowds have been wowed by his amazing performances in recent years,” said SSE Director of Event Programming Aaron Zimmerman. “We’re honored to exclusively host his legendary talents for another incredible performance.”

One of the world’s most famous operatic singers, Bocelli has wowed crowds with famed love songs and ascending arias. His show-stoppers include Verdi’s La donna e’ mobile from Rigoletto, Schubert’s Ave Maria, and Bocelli’s own Con te partiro. In Bocelli’s most recent performance at the BankAtlantic Center on Valentine’s Day, he drew standing ovations during four encores.

The BankAtlantic Center was recently ranked No. 13 in the United States and No. 35 in the world according to the mid-year arena venue rankings by trade publication Pollstar. The “Center of it All” has a remarkable schedule of concerts and events on tap for the remainder of 2012 including The Who, Carrie Underwood and more.
