BB&T; Center To Feature Two Re-branded Arena Clubs In 2013-14: The Legends Lounge And The Penalty Box
Legends Lounge to feature music, entertainment, sports and Panthers legends that have visited the BB&T; Center; Penalty Box will spotlight the Panthers’ most popular tough guys
Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the BB&T Center (@theBBTCenter) will feature two re-branded arena clubs beginning with the 2013-14 season – the Legends Lounge and the Penalty Box.
The Legends Lounge (formerly Black Velvet Lounge) on the BB&T Center’s suite level, will be redesigned to feature the music, entertainment, sports and Panthers legends that have visited the BB&T Center during it’s 15-plus years of existence.
The Legends Lounge will serve cocktails and soft drinks from its contemporary bar, as well as full-dining and waiter service at its spacious and comfortable tables (hockey games only). The Lounge is located on the suite level just to the south of the BB&T Center’s main escalators and VIP elevators and is open before and during all BB&T Center concerts, shows and Panthers hockey games.
The Penalty Box (formerly the Patron Tequila Platinum Club) is located on the BB&T Center club level on the southern end of the bowl (Panthers shoot once end) and features some of the arena’s most unique and specialized food and beverage options including gourmet sandwiches, pizza, pasta, a full-service bar, high-top seating areas, and more.
The Penalty Box will be branded with images of some of the Panthers’(@FlaPanthers) most famous and popular tough guys including Paul Laus, Peter Worrell, and more. It is also home to the FOX Sports Florida host desk, which is broadcast live pregame, postgame and during each intermission.
