BB&T; Center To Host WBA Boxing Event Featuring Guzman-Allakhverdiev Title Fight And Flo Rida Concert

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the BB&T Center will host a World Class Championship Boxing event on Friday, Nov. 30 featuring a full fight card, three title matches including Joan Guzman-Khabib Allakhverdiev, and a post-event concert with Flo Rida and two other artist yet to be named. The opening bell is at 4:30 p.m. with the concert scheduled to begin at 10 p.m.
The event is promoted and hosted by Henry Rivalta of Acquinity Sports.
Tickets for the event go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone (800-745-3000), at www.ticketmaster.com and at the BB&T Center box office. Ticket prices start at $59.50.
The main event is a World Championship bout for the vacant 140 lb title between two-time World Champion Joan Guzman (33-0) and Khabib Allakhverdiev (19-0). The co-main event will feature Argenis Mendez (20-1) against Rene “El Chirizo” Gonzalez. Also in action that night will be Ed Paredes (32-1), Claudio “The Matrix” Marrero (14-0), Alexei “ The Hurricane” Collado (15-0), Juan Carlos Payano (12-0), Domonique Dolton (12-0), Humberto Savigne of Cuba (10-1) and Isiah Thomas (11-0).
