Beyoncé Thrills Sold Out BB&T; Center Crowd On Tuesday Night

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment today announced that superstar performer Beyoncé thrilled a sold out BB&T Center (@theBBTCenter) crowd on Tuesday evening when her “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” visited Sunrise.

“We were thrilled and honored to welcome Beyoncé to the BB&T Center for a simply electric performance yesterday evening,” said SSE Executive Director of Event Programming Aaron Zimmerman. “The sold out show was one of the most exciting and anticipated in the building’s history and it certainly lived up to it’s billing for everyone that was in attendance including our guests, partners and staff.”

Beyoncé is one of the most widely recognized and highly respected women in pop culture. A solo recording artist, actress, philanthropist and businesswoman, she has released four #1 solo albums and has sold over 75 million albums worldwide. Her work has earned her numerous awards and accolades, including 16 Grammy Awards. Billboard named her the Top Female Artist and Top Radio Songs Artist of the 2000s decade. The Recording Industry Association of America also recognized Beyoncé as the Top Certified Artist of the 2000s.

The BB&T Center was recently ranked No. 6 in the United States according to first quarter venue rankings by trade publication Pollstar magazine.
