Fleetwood Mac to Play Exclusively At BB&T; Center on Saturday, June 8 Tickets on sale Dec. 17

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment today announced that legendary rock group Fleetwood Mac will bring their world renowned act exclusively to the BB&T Center on Saturday, June 8.

Tickets for the show go on sale Monday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone (800-745-3000), at www.ticketmaster.com and Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 9 a.m. at the BB&T Center box office.“We’re thrilled to welcome renowned rock group Fleetwood Mac back to the BB&T Center,” said SSE Executive Director of Event Programming Aaron Zimmerman. “Fleetwood Mac is sure to put on one of the best live shows of 2013 as part of an incredible first six months of BB&T Center events that are already on the calendar for 2013.”

Formed in 1967, Fleetwood Mac has enjoyed success with many different members, but most well-known for their current lineup including Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. Their 1977 album, Rumours is considered one of the most influential albums of all time and earned the band a Grammy for best album of 1977. The band has created timeless hits like “Landslide”, “You Can Go Your Own Way” and “Dreams” along with a catalog of music spanning four decades. Fleetwood Mac was inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

The BB&T Center was ranked No. 8 in the United States and No. 30 in the world according to the third-quarter arena venue rankings by trade publication Pollstar. The “Center of it All” has an exciting schedule of concerts and events on tap for the remainder of 2012 including Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, the MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic and more.
