FLORIDA PANTHERS AND BB&T; CENTER’s NEWEST ARENA SPACES AND OFFERINGS AN EARLY SUCCESS
SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers newest in-arena club spaces and offerings at the BB&T Center this season have had exciting and successful start in part due to a group of new partnerships the Panthers have begun with American Barrels Bourbon, Corona and Constellation Brands, Mardi Gras Casino and Lagunitas Brewing Company.
“The excitement and positive feedback we’ve received about our newly branded spaces and offerings has been tremendous”, said Panthers executive chairman Peter Luukko. “Customer satisfaction is highly important to our organization and both our new and existing partnerships provide us the ability to continue making the BB&T Center a fun and welcoming environment to watch any event.”
The main lobby bar at the BB&T Center has been rebranded this season as the American Barrels Bourbon Bar. Located across from Pantherland, the newly named plaza-level bar celebrates the American spirit, while offering American Barrels’ signature product. The upstart company was founded by Fort Myers, FL, native and Jr. Panthers alum Michael Reed. American Barrels Bourbon will also be available throughout the arena in other bar areas, clubs and suites.
BB&T Center’s Club level is split between two new sponsored club spaces, Corona Beach House and the Mardi Gras Casino Jester’s Court.
The private, all-inclusive Corona Beach House will take shape as the season progresses looking and feeling more like an exotic getaway at the BB&T Center, complete with modern beach décor and cabanas. Corona, Modelo and more will be available on tap at the Corona Beach House bars.
Mardi Gras Casino Jester’s Court caught fans eyes on opening night with a live painting of the space, featuring pieces inspired by the history of the Florida Panthers. Fans were able to stop by and watch as the look of the Jester’s Court was born. Mardi Gras Casino Jester’s Court is a vibrant Fat Tuesday-themed arena space where fans can enjoy food, drinks and take in the evening at the BB&T Center. Mardi Gras Casino has partnered with the Panthers this season as the presenting sponsor of the Florida Panthers Foundation 50-50 raffle as well as the upcoming Panthers Fanboni. The Fanboni will run during each intermission on the ice transporting six lucky Panthers fans.
Lord Stanley’s Loft presented by Lagunitas provides “old time hockey” fans a space brimming with a nostalgic sports bar feel. Lord Stanley’s Loft overlooks all of the action on the ice while giving fans the opportunity to play Panther branded bubble hockey or enjoy the outside rooftop patio. Lagunitas products are available in Lord Stanley’s Loft, arena suites and at designated drink carts on the plaza level.
Longtime partner It’Sugar has expanded its footprint on the arena’s plaza level and has a six-foot tall Stanley C. Panther made completely of Jelly Belly brand jelly beans. At every Panthers game, fans can guess as to how many jelly beans make up Stanley by tweeting at It’Sugar (@ItSugar). At the end of the season, It’Sugar will award a prize to the fan closest to the correct number.
Also joining the offerings at the BB&T Center this season is the new Uber pick-up and drop-off zone located at the gate six entrance of the arena.
