Florida State Takes On UMass, Florida Opponent To Be Determined In 2013 MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic

Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the 20th annual MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic will once again feature top-of-the-line college basketball in Broward County. The Florida State Seminoles will take on the Massachusetts Minutemen. With a recent SEC championship and a third-straight Elite Eight appearance, the Florida Gators will be featured in Sunrise for the eighth year in a row against a team to be determined.

The 2013 MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic will be held on December 21 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL. Game times will be announced at a later date. Tickets are now available through www.ticketmaster.com, at any Ticketmaster outlet, by phone (800-745-3000) or at the BB&T Center box office.

Special ticket packages are available for supporters of the Florida Gators or the Florida State Seminoles starting at $75 and include a ticket to both games, access to either the official Florida or official Florida State tailgate on the County-owned arena’s party City Patios (food and beverage included), and a commemorative gift. College hoops fans are encouraged to call 954-835-PUCK now to order their tickets since only 300 tickets are available for each tailgate.
