Jimmy Buffett And Coral Reefer Band To Perform Exclusively At the BB&T; Center On Saturday, Feb. 2

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment today announced that Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will be bringing their Lounging at the Lagoon tour exclusively to South Florida at the BB&T Center on Saturday Feb. 2 at 8pm.

In addition, SSE in conjunction with the City of Sunrise, announced that BB&T Center lots will open at 2pm for fans wishing to arrive early for the show.

Tickets are available for purchase through Ticketmaster on Friday Jan. 11 at 10am. You can purchase tickets by going to www.ticketmaster.com, at any Ticketmaster outlet, by phone (800-745-3000). Tickets will also be on sale at the BB&T Center box office on Monday Jan. 14 at 9am.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the legendary Jimmy Buffett back to the BB&T Center for the first time since 2010,” said SSE Executive Director of Event Programming Aaron Zimmerman. “He is a music superstar and icon and his show will be one of the must-see entertainment events of 2013 in South Florida.”

Last summer Jimmy released a new CD/DVD on his own Mailboat Records label called Welcome To Fin City, which was recorded at two Las Vegas concerts in October last year. Both the CD/DVD and the Blu-Ray DVD/CD contain 14 songs and 15 videos which includes the previously unreleased bonus video of "Elvis Presley Blues." Now available on iTunes is a live video of Jimmy Buffett and Lionel Richie singing the hit "All Night Long" which was recorded in 2012 at Comerica Park in Detroit.

The recently renamed BB&T Center was ranked No. 8 in the United States and No. 30 in the world according to the third quarter venue rankings. The “Center of it All” has a remarkable schedule of concerts and events on tap for the new year including Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi, Andrea Bocelli and many more.
