The music begins at 6:00 p.m. with a set by local favorites Havoc 305, playing rock and Top 40 hits. At 7:30 p.m., it's time for headliners Big Bad Voodoo Daddy – the masters of contemporary swing, jazz and big band.
2016 marks the 23rd anniversary of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s remarkable arrival onto the music scene. Since forming in California in the early nineties, the band has toured virtually nonstop – performing more than 2,700 live shows – and produced 10 albums. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy appeared in the 1996 indie film Swingers – a movie that not only launched the acting careers of Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau, but also introduced the band’s music to an audience beyond their Los Angeles base. Since then, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy's songs have been featured in countless films and TV shows, includingDespicable Me, Friends, Third Rock from the Sun, and Phineas and Ferb. They’ve also appeared live during the Super Bowl XXXIII Halftime Show, NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade – and performed for three U.S. presidents.
Don’t miss Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s horn-infused music and high-energy stage show. And at 9:00 p.m., enjoy a spectacular fireworks display.
