Matthew T. Rickoff Promoted To Vice President, Partnership Marketing For The Florida Panthers And BB&T; Center
Rickoff has spent more than nine years with SSE, most recently as Exec. Director, Strategic Partnerships
SUNRISE, FL – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that Matthew T. Rickoff has been promoted to Vice President of Partnership Marketing for the Florida Panthers and the BB&T Center after more than nine years with the organization, most recently as Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships.-In this enhanced role, Rickoff will oversee the organization’s sponsorship initiatives such as lead generation, corporate sales including new business and renewals, legal/contracts, and more.
“During his time with SSE Matt has been an incredibly loyal and hard-working member of the sponsorship department and this promotion is richly deserved,” said SSE President Michael R. Yormark. “Most importantly, though, is the way in which Matt has been able to learn, mature and grow during his time here. His development as a salesperson and as a leader is truly what validates this promotion.”
Rickoff joined SSE in November of 2003 as Executive Operations Intern, and has been promoted six times including Manager and Sr. Manager of New Business Development, Sr. Director of New Business Development, Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships, and now to Vice President.
Rickoff graduated from the Miami University (OH) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication and also holds an MBA in Sports Management from Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business.
