MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic Participants Florida, Florida St., Fresno St. And UMass All Off To Undefeated Starts

All four teams are 1-0; Will square off in a doubleheader on Saturday, Dec. 21 at the BB&T; Center

Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the four teams competing in the 20th annual MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic at the BB&T Center (@theBBTCenter) on Saturday, Dec. 21 – No. 10 Florida, Florida State, Fresno State and UMass – are a combined 4-0 after the first weekend of play in college basketball.

The Gators (1-0, 91-67 win over North Florida), will play the late game against Fresno State (1-0, 98-97 win over UC Irvine). Meanwhile, Florida State (1-0, 91-67 win over Jacksonville) will play the early game against UMass (1-0, 86-73 win over Boston College).

Game times will be announced at a later date. Tickets are now available through www.ticketmaster.com, at any Ticketmaster outlet, by phone (800-745-3000) or at the BB&T Center box office.

Special ticket packages are available for supporters of the Florida Gators or the Florida State Seminoles starting at $75 and include a ticket to both games, access to either the official Florida or official Florida State tailgate on the County-owned arena’s party City Patios (food and beverage included), and a commemorative gift.
