Nearly 8,000 Fans Attend Daughtry & 3 Doors Down “Panthers Season Seat Holder Appreciation” Concert At BB&T; Center Last Night
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that nearly 8,000 fans attended last night’s Daughtry & 3 Doors Down “Panthers Season Seat Holder Appreciation” concert at the BB&T Center.
The show was free to all Cats season seat owners as part of the “7th Man” campaign and acted as a preview for the 2013-14 free season seat owner concert series that is part of the Panthers’ new renewal campaign. The concert was also available to the public for sale.
Panthers in-game host Bill Murphy took the stage prior to the show to thank Cats fans for their loyalty and support, while Daughtry drummer Robin Diaz wore a red Panthers home jersey during the encore.
“We were both excited and humbled to thank many of our loyal season seat owners with last night’s free concert at the BB&T Center,” said Panthers President Michael R. Yormark. “We truly believe we have the best fans in the NHL and we are looking forward to hosting more special events for them in the very near future.”
The Panthers’ season seat owner free concert series features four events for every 2013-14 season seat owner and a fifth – Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall on April 11 – for fans that renew by the March 13 deadline. Fans will receive surveys to help determine the types of free concerts they would like to see.
