Rock Legends Aerosmith Coming Exclusively To BB&T; Center On Sunday, Dec. 9
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members Aerosmith will make an exclusive visit to South Florida when they bring their Music From Another Dimension Tour to the BB&T Center on Sunday, Dec. 9.
Tickets for the show go on sale Monday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone (800-745-3000), at www.ticketmaster.com and Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. at the BB&T Center box office.
“To have one of America’s best-selling rock bands of all time stop at the BB&T Center for an exclusive show is a great thrill,” said SSE Executive Director of Event Programming Aaron Zimmerman. “We know South Florida will enjoy hearing their new hits, along with their many legendary classics.”
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, Aerosmith’s debut album in 1973 reached 2x platinum. That was just one of 11 platinum studio albums among their career to reach platinum status. Among their chart-topping singles include Sweet Emotion, Dream On, Walk This Way, Janie’s Got a Gun, Livin’ on the Edge, Cryin’ and I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing. Their new album Music From Another Dimension debuts November 6.
The recently renamed BB&T Center was ranked No. 13 in the United States and No. 35 in the world according to the mid-year arena venue rankings by trade publication Pollstar. The “Center of it All” has a remarkable schedule of concerts and events on tap for the remainder of 2012 including The Who, Carrie Underwood and Eric Church.
