Ruckus Sports Hits the BB&T; Center Sunday, Nov. 10

Nation’s Premiere Family-Friendly Obstacle Race caters to participants from 2 to 82.

Sunrise Sports & Entertainment today announced that Ruckus Sports will bring their premier family-friendly obstacle race to the BB&T Center (@theBBTCenter) on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Registration is currently open for participants. Pricing begins at $60 for the 5k Ruckus and $20 for the Mini Ruckus, which includes one free spectator pass.  Spectators can also purchase passes for $10. For more information or to register for a Ruckus Race visit www.runruckus.com.

“We are delighted to bring this great family-friendly obstacle race to the BB&T Center,” said SSE Vice President of Event Programming Kevin Grove. “Ruckus Sports’ races have something for everyone and really allow for both participants and spectators to enjoy in a full day of fun and adventure.”

The Ruckus Obstacle Race Series combines best in class obstacles with a wildly popular Mini Ruckus for kids along with an after party to create the ultimate family adventure. Ruckus events are designed for a wide range of participants ages 2 to 82 with obstacle courses challenging enough for the elite, yet achievable for all. Participants can run together in teams of any size, but everyone is timed individually. All runners receive a t-shirt, race bib and medal upon conclusion of the event, plus a commemorative pint glass for adult runners.

Ruckus courses are always built with spectators in mind. As a result, nearly the entire course, including the biggest obstacles, is visible to spectators. The high-energy spectator areas also feature an event expo with vendors, free giveaways, food, and drink tents plus music and entertainment.

Also announced is a race at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston on Saturday, Oct. 23.
