SSE Announces New Menu Items For Select BankAtlantic Center Concession Areas Including Black Velvet Lounge, Patron Club And Suites
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment today announced that, in collaboration with Centerplate, a variety of new menu items will be available in select BankAtlantic Center concession areas beginning Florida Panthers’ Opening Night on Oct. 13. The new menu options will be available for Panthers games and concert performances and will feature incredible new cuisine presentation, as well as a variety of specialized food options including vegan, organic, health-food, and more.
“These incredible new food offerings and presentation represent just the latest way in which SSE and Centerplate are working to enhance the overall experience for all of our guests,” said SSE president & COO Michael R. Yormark. “In addition, with the new bundle options, as well as enhanced vegan, organic and health menus, we are ensuring that all of our guests will be able to enjoy incredible cuisine each and every time they visit the BankAtlantic Center.”
New menu items will be available in a variety of concession areas including the Black Velvet Lounge, Patron Tequila Platinum Club, luxury suites, and more.
New offerings include a Chef’s Naturals menu that focuses on solely using natural, healthy foods, including an American tuna nicoise salad, a natural wrap sampler, natural frankfurters, and more. This menu will also feature the BankAtlantic Center’s first true vegan menu options.
Additionally, several new menu items with new service presentation will exist on the revitalized menu, such as jerk shrimp tacos with sweet & spicy pineapple jam, pulled chicken salad croissants, and a local favorite, ropa vieja with black beans and rice.
Luxury suite menu bundles will also become available for the first time, with the goal of providing different tastes and textures at a reduced price. Bundles such as the Lord Stanley Bundle include imported & domestic cheese boards, jumbo shrimp cocktail, chateau of beef tenderloin, etc.
In the Black Velvet Lounge, new appetizer and sandwich items include a New England lobster roll, a chicken & brie sandwich, while new entrees include smoked pork hash and scallops. The Lounge will also feature a new Black Velvet LIVE! gourmet pasta action station where guests will be able to select their own pastas and sauces. The Patron Tequila Platinum Club and select Plaza Level concession areas will also feature enhanced menus with some new items and variations on popular items from the past season.
The Panthers are set to open the 2012-13 season Oct. 13 against the Tampa Bay Lightning and will raise a Southeast Division Championship banner in a pre-game ceremony.
