SSE hires YESCO and local contractors to convert two outdoor marquees to full LED displays
Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the BB&T Center’s two outdoor marquees on the Sawgrass Expressway and Panther Parkway are being upgraded to full LED displays.
SSE has retained YESCO – one of the industry’s premier electric signage companies – and local contractors to conduct the upgrade, which will be completed by Monday, Jan. 6.
“We are excited to announce the upgrade to full LED displays of the BB&T Center outdoor marquees,” said SSE President & CEO Michael R. Yormark (@PanthersYormark). “We want to thank YESCO and the local contractors that have worked dilligently on this project in addition to the City of Sunrise and Broward County for their support.
“This renovation is another example of SSE’s commitment to maintaining the County-owned BB&T Center as a state-of-the-art venue that is competitive with other facilities of its kind in South Florida and beyond.
The BB&T Center’s (@theBBTCenter) outdoor marquees were originally installed in 2008 and since then have been used to promote the Florida Panthers (@FlaPanthers), upcoming arena content and more.
The Panther Parkway marquee is currently up and running with both displays expected to be fully operational by Jan. 6.
